I was surprised to hear on TV tonight that James Holmes did absolutely nothing wrong with amassing weapons and bomb materials etc until he actually walked into the cinema and started shooting. For gods sake.. the alarm bells should have been ringing well before that.

To American citizens.. get over your obsession with guns. Surely this mass killing has got to get the wheels rolling to make guns illegal (to the general public anyway).

How many more massacres will it take until something is done?

In my opinion, all the political parties in Australia - STINK.

Abbott is taking every opportunity to nitpick Julia Gillard, who is having to deal with the consequences of lying to the general public.

It's quite funny .. in an odd way ... governments always seem to implement things we don't want, and the things we do want, they don't do.

For Starters: We didn't want the carbon Tax (and was told we wouldn't have one) .. and yet, we now have a Carbon Tax.

The bulk of Australians want same sex marriage rights.. and yet the government won't bring it in.

The bulk of Australians want Euthanasia to be legislated... and yet the government won't even talk about it, let alone legislate it.

The church still has too much clout in the government. This is wrong. I don't pay my taxes to have politicians make decisions based on their own personal religious beliefs (ha hum... Abbott - Abortion). Politicians  have to put their religious beliefs behind them and look at making decisions for what is best for Australia. If that decision works in well with their belief.. great.. if it doesn't .. tough luck.

You have to ask, at the end of the day .. who is the government working for?

We could maybe afford to put more money into education and in particular, disadvantaged kids, if politicians stopped paying themselves exorbitant amounts and living lavishly at the expense of the tax payer.

The Greens are just plain wacky and off the planet, that they can't be taken seriously.

It was in the papers a few months ago that the general public have lost respect for politicians. Do you really wonder why given the shambles that is called government?

Jehovah girl remains in hospital - These are disgusting parents

JEHOVAH'S Witness girl who was granted medical treatment by the Supreme Court despite her parents' objection remains in hospital.

The girl, 4, was ordered to receive a blood transfusion, which her parents had refused on religious grounds.

A Women's and Children's Hospital spokeswoman said the family did not want to provide an update on the girl.

Supreme Court Justice Richard White had said without a transfusion, there was a "very high" risk the girl would die.

This is just disgusting.

To me, it shows the uncaring faithless attitude of the Jehovah Witness Church. What bastards. And, Churches are supposed to be caring and kind towards their flock!.. What a fucking joke.

To all you brainless and brainwashed Jehovah's Witness sheep followers out there... you've been led along in such a fashion that you are willing to let you're own child die... you are truly disgusting self centred pricks that have no place in todays society.

We (try) to promote tolerance and caring towards each other but when faced with parents that would rather let their child die you have to ask, do these people deserve to be parents. To all those young JW's reading this.. get out of you're scummy church while you can .. you're parents won't give a fuck about you if you need a blood transfusion.. they'd rather you DIE.

And the really painful thing that comes out of this is ... IT'S TRUE...I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP .. YOU'RE PARENTS WOULD RATHER YOU DIE, THAN SAVE YOU'RE LIFE IF YOU NEED A BLOOD TRANSFUSION... YOU DONT HAVE A CHOICE.

You don't even have a choice as to whether you want to be a Jehovahs Witness, you are dragged into the clan... and apparently, you have to die for the clan. What a fucking joke.

Sheep fall on cars after truck rolls... WHAT CRAP REPORTING WE HAVE HERE.

It was raining sheep on Melbourne motorists after a truck carrying 400 livestock rolled off a bend and hung precariously over a highway. 

What a bullshit and insensitive story. A heap of poor animals have been injured and killed through a freak accident and all this reporter can do is make light of it and think its a laugh.

Julian Assange Trumped Up Sex Charges

We all know the United States has been accused of trumping up these sexual assault charges against Julian Assange. They're pretty mad.

But, lets face it, the U.S. is not exactly innocent in its dealings with the rest of the world, but now we know it for sure.

They are now one step closer into getting Julian Assange onto United States soil so they can take him down. I'm not sure how they can do this as he wasn't on US soil when Wikileaks released the documents. He's not a US citizen. So, can anyone tell me how legally they can charge Julian Assange?

To all those who value freedom from repressive regimes like the US, retaliate now with your complaints to the various US embassies around the world and blogs such as these.

We all know that Wikileaks damaged the United States, but it wasn't the exposing of national secrets that was dangerous, it was the embarrassment of what the US had been doing behind people backs.

In fact, it's quite laughable. Citizens of the US have never been so downtrodden as they are now. The government wants to control internet, spy on phone calls, text messages.. and yes of course, there is the Patriot Act.
