Sheik Ismail Al-Wahwah, Australian head of extremist Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir

Sheik Ismail Al-Wahwah, the Australian head of extremist Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir.

The above Sheik wants Australia to become an Islamic state according to news reports just out.

No, Sheik Ismail Al-Wahwah, we don't want to become an Islamic state. If you want more of Islam... go back home. You're not wanted here in Australia.

How would you like me to move to your homeland, and ask for the people and government to convert to  Christianity and follow the Christian ways? No, you wouldn't like it. In fact, I'd probably be thrown in jail, never to be seen again. Possibly even beheaded?

In my travels, I have been to heavily populated Islamic countries, and don't find this attitude anywhere except for these extremist people. If I had my way, I'd deport you within a week never to return to Australia, but our government is gutless.

Queensland MP, Steve Ciobo says:

"Frankly, we have had a gutful of people who deliberately incite hatred and people who want to overturn the foundation principles of this country," he said. "This Sheik Al-Wahwah needs to be slapped down from moderate Muslim supporters who recognise there is no place in Australia for these kinds of attitudes."The sheik told supporters it was their duty to "carry the light of Islam to the rest of the world ... Not with flowers. It was the army of Muslims which started from Medina, and they went to China, India, and the Maghreb.

"That is jihad."

He said under an Islamic government, alcohol would be banned, a strict dress code enforced for all Australians and languages other than Arabic banned in schools.

It pisses me off to no degree when people immigrate to Australia then aren't happy with our system and ways. Well, if that's the case, why did you move here ? And, in addition, if you don't like Australian ways, the door is always open for you to move back home. I won't stop you. I have nothing against Muslim people and have Muslim friends, but I won't stand for these people telling us to totally change our society to suit theirs.

GO HOME

Paedophile alert for Nude Olympics at Maslins Beach

For some time now, Maslins Beach has been the venue for the annual Nude Olympics organised by Debbie Pillar from the Pilwarren resort near Swan Reach here in South Australia.

Apparently South Coast Police have been in contact with organisers and have advised it may be better for children to wear clothes to deter would be paedophiles from taking advantage of the event.

In addition, Debbie Pillar also advises that unauthorised photography will be banned from the beach on the day. However, in a later paragraph says they cannot control what people photograph and actually have no power to stop people from taking photographs or video. If 'so called' authorisation is needed, who controls the authorisation? It's a public beach, a public event - if the organisers and police are that worried by the possibility of paedopohiles, maybe it's better not to hold the event?

To this end, I'm sure there will be a number of parents who will be taking photographs of their kids in a particular race or two, or even just on the beach. What if one of those photographs accidentally (or deliberately) contains a kid or two from another family. What if an adult just wants to photograph the 'fun' of the day and that photo contains naked children, or clothed children, for that matter?

The point of my rant is that it's a sad state of affairs when a public family event is marred by the apparent need to bring paedophilia to the forefront. I'm all for the protection of children, AND, I can see the 'benefit' of advertising police presence at the event, but in my opinion, it's just sad that the first thing on the agenda is 'how will we keep the paedophiles away?

I think it's also a sad state when bystanders - who may want to photograph the days activities - risk a run in with the law because they innocently take pictures of events which may contain kids, clothed or not. You may even have budding photographers who deliberately don't take pictures of kids in case they're questioned over it. Is that what we want? People afraid to do perfectly innocent things because of what they may be accused of?

Will we get to a point where a man will no longer want to to say "I love kids", because he will be viewed suspiciously?

It's no different to a man taking his dog for a walk in the park. He dare not not stop in front of a playground to innocently watch the kids playing lest parents see him and call the police. "Oh my god, there's a man looking in the playground - call the police".

You will notice I've only mentioned men when I've referred to paedophilia. It seems that society doesn't consider that women can be paedophiles as well. You see this all the time in media reports. When a news story reports of a man having sex with an underage person, he's a paedophile. When a woman has sex with an underage person, she's reported as being a child molester? Why the difference?

As a society, it seems to be deemed worse when a man has underage sex with a girl, but it's not as bad when a woman has underage sex with a boy. Why? Is it media reporting that biases us?

It's interesting that in law, a person is innocent till proved guilty, yet, with much of the population, a person is guilty till proved innocent. It's presumed that he must be a paedophile because he's looking at kids in a playground. The fact that the person is walking a dog and may take joy in seeing kids having fun doesn't seem to enter into it.

Is this really the way we want to go as a society?

Dylan John Closter, 18 Y/Old Alleged Killer in New Years Eve Bashing

A Melbourne teenager who allegedly laughed and joked after fatally wounding David Cassai on New Year's Eve has been refused bail.

Today, police told Melbourne Magistrates Court witnesses suggested Dylan John Closter, 18, had laughed and said "that's what we're here for" as he walked away from an unconscious Mr Cassai.

He then allegedly physically assaulted Mr Cassai and hit him three times, causing him to lose consciousness.

Closter was charged with manslaughter on Wednesday.

What concerns me about the above events is the callousness of the alleged act. Why do we, as a society, put up with characters such as this alleged mongrel?

In a strange perverted way, I can understand an argument at a party, someone goes out of control, pushes another person, that person falls over and hits his head on concrete and dies. The end result possibly couldn't be anticipated. Any violence is abhorrent, and usually someone will get hurt to some extent. In an instance like this, I don't think anyone sets out to cause serious harm to anyone, possibly just rough them up a bit, with unfortunate consequences.

What I really get pissed off is with people who go out looking for fights. You only have to go out to Hindley Street here in Adelaide and see the bogans drunkenly stomping around on the footpath just waiting for any excuse to have a go at someone.

In my opinion, anyone who is deliberately out to look for a fight, should have the book thrown at them extra hard. Like many others, I'm sick of these bogan arseholes in our society. If you were in Venezuela, after being found guilty, they'd just be taken outside and shot.

Whilst I don't subscribe to shooting them, why do we pander to these people with 'do gooder' excuses of a poor upbringing, broken home blah blah blah. And then to laugh and joke after you've just committed a gross act of violence is enough in my books to earn this alleged killer an additional 5 years in jail.

Stick them in jail with hard labour just like used to be done (and is still done in many countries), except of course in Australia, where you've got all the red tape of safe work practices, can't lift over 15Kg blah blah.

If I was a judge or magistrate, everyone of these (violence seeking) bogans would get maximum jail time. Tough Luck. Maybe when you get out of jail, you might think twice before going out looking for a fight.

Closter, in my opinion, if found guilty, should get a minimum of 20 years jail time. Give him time to reflect on his life and his bad life choice decision.

Addendum 04/01/2013

I have to agree with all the people who have left comments, and thank you for those comments. I've seen the pictures of Dylan Closters' father and friends leaving court .. geez.. they look like a motley lot. I think you can tell a lot about a person who calls women 'bitches' on his Facebook page. It might sound all black American and trendy, but in the end, just shows you the disrespect this bogan has for women and society in general.

I agree also that prison life will probably make him an even worse person, but what can you do. If he's found guilty, do you just want to smack him on the wrist because you don't want to send him to prison? At the end of the day, he is a product of his upbringing, and unfortunately society has to put up with this trash!
