A disturbing story was sent to me by a reader who allegedly claims that the owner of the vehicle above may have slashed his tyres in a side street off Prospect Road in South Australia.
Prospect Road is known for it's cafe's, restaurants and sadly difficult parking. The story involves the owner of a vehicle parking in a space they thought was free, only to find that same space may have been wanted by the driver of the Toyota Kluger. You draw your own conclusions from the story and images taken from the Navman camera from the vehicle which had it's tyres slashed.
"We saw the Toyota Kluger pull in and seemingly go to park in that position. There was plenty of space for them to park and so we thought nothing of it (see picture 1). We could see the reversing lights going on and off and simply thought they were straightening up".
"There was a driveway behind the Kluger and another space. You can see in Picture 1, the Kluger parking, and you can see the space where we parked. There was plenty of room for both vehicles to park".
"Suddenly the Kluger reverses back hurriedly (see Picture 2) and in Pictures 3, 4 and 5, you see it drive off at speed".
"Again, we don't think much of it, and head off to lunch".
"We come back from lunch and discover that someone has slashed both the left hand tyres - front and back. Instantly, we thought of the Kluger and it's erratic behaviour when it was parking. The guy was obviously pissed because "we took his spot", even though there was plenty of room where he originally parked".
"Whilst there's no direct evidence the Kluger driver slashed our tyres, when we thought about it, the speed he drove off at seemed to indicate anger".
"I mean, I've had parking spot taken whilst I've been ready to pull in, it's annoying, but hey, it's not the end of the world". And is certainly doesn't warrant slashing tyres. It takes a certain childish and vindictive person to do something like that".
You make up your minds based on supplied images and the recollection of day as supplied.
